How to Delete Your Kinnect Account
If you decide to delete your Kinnect account, you can follow these simple steps:
- Open the Kinnect App: Log in to your Kinnect account.
- Navigate to Settings: Tap on the profile icon (or picture) in the top left corner to access your account settings.
- Navigate to 'Other': Tap on 'Delete Account'.
- Confirm Deletion: Follow the prompts to confirm that you want to permanently delete your account.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
If you decide to delete your Kinnect account, you can follow these simple steps:
- Account Deactivation: Once you confirm the deletion, your account will be deactivated immediately. You will no longer be able to log in or use Kinnect.
- Data Retention: In accordance with UK data protection laws, we will retain your data for a period of 1 year after account deletion. This allows us to comply with legal obligations and resolve any potential disputes. After this period, all your personal data will be securely deleted from our systems.
- Data Usage: During the retention period, your data will not be used for any purposes other than compliance with legal requirements.
Can I Reactivate My Account?
If you change your mind within the 1-year retention period, you can contact us at hugo@kinnect.io to reactivate your account. After the retention period, reactivation will not be possible as your data will be permanently deleted.
